This study highlights the significance of the Greek folk tale, “Who is the Smartest?” from Karditsa, as a subject for philosophical exploration. While initially appearing as a narrative focused on intelligence and wit among its characters, a closer examination uncovers a rich landscape for philosophical inquiry.
