A Critical Review of Research on Live Streaming of Agricultural Products: Status, Trends, and Mechanisms

In recent years, live streaming of agricultural products has gradually become an essential driving force to promote the development of the rural economy in China. Although live streaming of agricultural products has become a research hotspot, there is a lack of a critical review to understand research status and trends on this research topic. Following PRISMA, we search literature on live streaming of agricultural products though Web of Science database and CNKI database. Then, we use CiteSpace software to conduct an overall analysis of current research. Further, we analyze all the empirical studies, and summarized key mechanisms affecting the purchase of agricultural products through live streaming. Both theoretical and empirical contribution are discussed.
