The Concept and Connotation of “AIGC+”: A Retrospect and Prospect of AIGC

The explosion of Midjourney and ChatGPT has led to 2022 being dubbed the year of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), followed by a boom in AIGC applications around the world and in various industries for more than a year. Focusing on this hotspot, this paper reviews the origin of the concept of AIGC, its basic elements, and its current development, and then proposes the concept of “AIGC+” based on the discussion of the modals of AIGC and specific application scenarios under the modals, and provides an in-depth outlook on the future development of “AIGC+” in terms of application, industry direction and market impact, which reveals the important position of “AIGC+” as a new type of productivity in the era of digital economy, and predicts that “AIGC+” will have a profound impact on the future development of the digital economy, including business, work and life.
