摘要

In order to achieve a sustainable design or assessment of complex concrete elements, it is important to perform an adequate probabilistic assessment of their structural capacity. In this contribution, the full-probabilistic structural capacity in concrete half-joint girders is investigated by using three different strut-and-tie models, which are an application of the static theorem in limit analysis. Probabilistic Monte Carlo sampling is used to include uncertainties directly into the limit analysis calculations and to investigate the uncertainty propagation in different strut-and-tie models. Moreover, the influence of the strut-and-tie model as well as the reinforcement ratio on the distribution of failure mechanisms is investigated.
