The Future of Capitalism
摘要
With increasing world population and limited land and natural resources total agricultural product will reach its maximum level as a result of the law of diminishing returns (or the law of the minimum). As agricultural production approaches the upper limit and the Earth’s population increases, the problem of food shortage will become more pressing and the food crisis will intensify. Wealthy and poor countries will all be affected although unequally and in different ways. Wars, dictatorships, uprisings and revolutions are possible developments, without any of them being able to provide a solution.
