Some Methodological Issues

Any discussion about the future of capitalism requires an understanding that capitalism is a socioeconomic system, not a human being, that there are endogenous and exogenous factors that affect the results of its operation, that the dimension of time is important, that the interconnection of various events (economic, political and social within a country as well as among countries) makes multiple crises (polycrises) probable, and that in this period of globalization the economic and political changes in one country may have considerable effects on other countries.
