The Emergence and Operation of Social Enterprising Nonprofit Organizations

In recent years, a significant number of social enterprising nonprofit organizations have arisen around the globe, representing ever-growing interest in the practice (López-Arceiz et al., 2023; Chell, 2010; Dees & Anderson, 2003; Nicholls, 2010). This growth has been necessitated by several pull-push factors that are affecting the global economy, especially in regard to the social economy and the development of communities. The pull-push factors are elements that drive away or pull out certain ways and push in new innovative ways of doing things. In geography, the term is used to describe why people migrate from one area to another.
