Blockchain in the Portuguese Public Electronic Service
摘要
The use of blockchain technology in public electronic services is necessary to guarantee a continuous recording service of data sets, for the common good of citizens. In Portugal, the non-incorporation of blockchain as part of Digital Transformation (DT) makes it difficult to obtain documentary evidence in a timely manner, in strategic areas of nature: spatial, sociodemographic, health, water, energy, mobility and climate and meteorology. For this reason, the aim is to find out how blockchain technology is integrated into the Portuguese government's electronic service. To verify the facts and obtain documentary evidence, we resorted to a bibliographical review, by consulting the Scocus and ScienceDiretct databases. For each selected article, the number of repetitions of the word blockchain is counted. We conclude that blockchain technology fits into funded scientific research projects.
