The Challenges of Blockchain in Healthcare Entrepreneurship
摘要
This paper presents an exploratory study which outlines a theoretical framework for prospective entrepreneurs to better understand the challenges of blockchain technology applied to healthcare. The primary aim is to provide structured analysis of theories and concepts. The methodology involves an initial deep analysis in the literature to understand the complexities of healthcare systems and foundational knowledge of blockchain technology. Subsequently, identifying specific healthcare challenges suitable for integration with blockchain was a main goal. Findings draw some challenges, as blockchain applied to healthcare bring serious questions of regulations and ethics. Emerging theories highlight blockchain’s role in data security, interoperability, and transparency, with applications spanning data privacy enhancement, system interoperability, patient-controlled health data, and supply chain processes, payment systems, and compliance in healthcare.
