摘要

Beer, a popular global beverage, is known for its health benefits and affordability. It contains protein, B vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, ethanol, dietary fibers, and prebiotic substances. However, excessive alcohol intake can negatively impact individuals and communities. Beer’s phenolic compounds have anti-inflammatory properties, stifling free radicals and inhibiting cancer growth. Moderate beer consumption is linked to a 30–40% lower risk of cardiovascular illnesses. It also has immunomodulation effects, preventing diabetes, ageing, and antibacterial action. In-vivo research on beer with combined estrogen/anti-estrogen activity is needed.
