Standardized Hydraulic Incidents Index (SHYINI): A New Method to Analyze Hydraulic Incidents and Their Influence on Energy
摘要
The continuity of the public water services essentially depends on several criteria, including: The climate, the availability of water resources, the demand for water, the degree and recurrence of hydraulic incidents and also th efficiency of electrical energy supply. We are interested in this study to the process of recording and processing incidents affecting hydraulic installations intended for the supply of drinking water. A processing and analysis software (SUREAP) was developed in 2016 used by the Algerian water company (ADE). More than 8000 incidents were recorded in the database of this software, the statistical analysis made it possible to identify the recurring incidents at the level of the hydraulic installations. A new standardized index has been proposed to analyze incidents (SHYINI); the results show that the most recurrent incidents are: Leaks, breakdowns of emerged electric pump units, breakdowns of pumping stations; power cuts, the management of these incidents in the action plans improves the quality of public water service for Algerian citizens.
