Climate Solutions: Reducing CO2 Emissions in the Aviation Sector

The aviation industry contributes significantly to global CO2 emissions, accounting for about 2% of the global CO2 emissions. To make the sector more environmentally friendly, CO2 emissions can be reduced by using kerosene made from CO2, water, and solar energy instead of using fossil fuel-based kerosene. Or other more environmentally friendly fuels can be used, such as hydrogen or biofuel. Even electric planes exist.
