摘要

There are many situations in which it is difficult to communicate what you want to say. And it has been suggested that this is also related to depression. In this study, we focused on situations where it is hard to communicate to others who seems busy. The purpose is to clarify why it is difficult to communicate. To achieve this, we conducted survey and interview research when communicating and being communicated. Subsequently, qualitative analyses were performed on behaviors, thoughts, and emotions. As a result, participants who exhibited a tendency towards non-assertive behavior (not expressing their opinions) were suggested to self-impose limitations on their behaviors and to engage in self-blame in their thoughts and emotions. On the contrary, participants with lower scores did not show a tendency for their thoughts and emotions to turn negative. Therefore, in situations where it is difficult to communicate, the relationship between behavior, thoughts, and emotions and assertion was recognized. It was found that assertion is related to differences in behavior, thoughts, and emotions.
