Wes’s Story

Wes describes an educational experience involving various challenges throughout, as well as supportive educators and parents where he was provided with access to educational resources and opportunities in his community to explore his passions including music and teaching where today he strives to be a role model for other youth. His story is complemented by commentaries from a secondary school teacher teaching French, English, and Visual Arts and an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper championing Indigenous rights, cultural preservation, and reconciliation.
