Industry 4.0 has conditioned the development of new methods and practices of quality management, known as Quality 4.0, which greatly affect the entire business of the organization. Analogous to the above, the impact is realized through the improvement of the overall performance of organizations. The new technologies of Industry 4.0 lead to an increase in the importance of key performance indicators, which are increasingly based on non-financial measures. Understanding the new concept of Quality 4.0 and emphasizing the performance, that results from the successful introduction of this concept is necessary so that organizations can define their business goals and strategies in order to achieve sustainability in the global market. The paper provides a comprehensive review of literature related to the importance of understanding Quality 4.0 in the era of Industry 4.0 and shows the impact on organizational performance. Also, the focus of the work is on pointing out the barriers and proposing solutions for solving them in the case of Quality 4.0, with the aim of overcoming the problems of introducing Quality 4.0, which have a particularly high impact on improving the overall performance of the organization. The motive of writing the paper lies in the fact that there is no literature in which the mentioned concept is unified. The aim of the work is to gather in one place a review of the available literature in the field of Quality 4.0 with an emphasis on the advantages of introducing this concept and indicating barriers and proposed solutions.
