GIS Analysis for Urban “Anti-fragility” to Climate Change
摘要
This paper aims at illustrating the methodology adopted for the elaboration of the Diagnostic Knowledge Framework (in accordance with the Regional Law of Emilia-Romagna Region L.R. 24/2017) in the metropolitan context of Bologna. Through this methodology it was possible to define appropriate sites for soil adaptation actions, taking into account soil permeability (physical dimension), transformation capacity through public facilities (functional dimension), and the possibility of fostering new natural ecosystem connections (environmental dimension). Furthermore, this approach aims at fostering connections between green and blue infrastructures in the urban context in order to build upon biodiversity and regulating ecosystem services, as well as to enhance the capacity of the urbanized areas to adapt to climate change.
