Search Engines
摘要
We present the history of Web search and comment on the evolution of this algorithmic technology that was born only about 25 years ago. Then the discussion moves to the algorithmic structure of a search engine, with its five main modules: Crawler, Document Analyzer, Indexer, Query Resolver, and Ranker. Finally, we discuss some algorithms of various sophistication and efficiency to solve a core problem called set intersection.
