Common Testing
摘要
A very important tool in the practice of clinical medicine is diagnostic testing. A variety of tests, including laboratory studies, imaging techniques (radiographs, ultrasounds, computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging), and electrocardiograms, are used in establishing diagnoses and monitoring response to therapy in children with acute and chronic illnesses. A basic understanding of the common tests utilized in pediatric care is foundational for being an effective clinician and is a body of knowledge that should be acquired during clinical rotations and experiences in pediatrics.
