Do You See Now?
摘要
A Korean poet, survivor of the global adoption trade, and mother of two children, Mila has been actively involved in advocacy work for educational justice both before the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. In this chapter, she begins with a poem she wrote upon hearing about the tragic deaths of Asian immigrant women in Atlanta on March 16, 2021. She then tells the story of her struggles, hopes, and dreams in the fight for liberatory education for all children.
