Ruth is Chinese-Taiwanese American former Education Policy Research Fellow at the Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA), is the Education Program Coordinator at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC, co-founder of AAVEd, and a mother of two school-aged children. She starts off with poems in which she tells her childhood and adulthood struggles of being Asian American in the South. Then, she proceeds to share her transformation through grassroots organizing for educational justice.
