Topological K-Theory and Clifford Algebras
摘要
Topological K-theory was invented by M. F. Atiyah and F.E.P. Hirzebruch. It forms a generalized cohomology theory on compact (or locally compact) spaces, and the \(\mathrm {K}\) -theory \(\mathrm {K}^*(X)\) of a locally compact space is a ring, defined in terms of vector bundles.
