  • Mubashir Mahmood Qureshi

摘要

Pediatric patients represent up to 50% of the total in many countries. The majority, especially in LMIC regions, are managed by general neurosurgeons. Situations that must be considered while managing pediatric patients are outlined, ensuring that complications are duly anticipated; and when they do occur, they are managed in the manner most appropriate for this vulnerable group. These conditions include congenital and developmental disorders of the brain and the spine, traumatic injuries, cerebrovascular conditions, infectious diseases, neoplastic conditions, functional disorders.
