Duality in Banach’s 1929 work on functionals

In 1929 Banach published in Studia Mathematica; a work dedicated to the study of functionals on a normed vector space. The paper, entitled “Sur les fonctionnelles lineaires” is published in two parts (Banach, 1929a) and (Banach, 1929b), in which Banach develops important results about functionals.
