It is important that we pay back those who have taught us in the past and made us who we are today. We can do that by teaching and training the next generations of young neurosurgeons, doing what my mentors have done for me, not just in our local institutions or in our own country but throughout the world. Neurosurgery today is global, and there are many platforms for teaching young neurosurgeons, and hence be able to pay back those who have taught us, including the many pediatric neurosurgical courses and meetings conducted by organized pediatric neurosurgery, such as the ISPN, ESPN, AASPN, and the Pediatric Chapter of FLANC.
