Pathology and Oculoplasty

The focus of this chapter is on pathologic conditions that are commonly faced in an oculoplasticOculoplastic surgical encounter. These conditions are neoplastic lesions involving the eyelid skin and adnexa. This chapter will have minimal focus on the pathology of the eye globe. No discussion of pathology would be complete without addressing two important areas namely; proper submission of the samples and the dialogue between the clinicians and pathologist. The former will be discussed in the beginning and the latter will be addressed in detail at the end of the chapter.
