Neuromodulation for Painful Neuromas
摘要
Neuroma pain may persist despite pharmacotherapy, interventional procedures, and surgery. In these cases, neuromodulation may be a useful treatment option. There are a variety of forms of neuromodulation, each with its particular advantages and disadvantages, depending on the exact location of the neuroma and distribution of pain. There is also emerging evidence supporting the use of neuromodulation devices to treat chronic neuropathic pain.
