The final chapter explains Baro Tumsa’s legacy, identifies and explains the historical successes and challenges of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) for almost a half-century, and describes how and why the front has survived this long period and predicts its future direction. Also, it specifically identifies and examines major factors such as the rebirth of different forms of Oromummaa and the further development of Oromo nationalism, the development of Afaan Oromoo (the Oromo language) and its script, the recognition of the name Oromo and the map of Oromia, and the consolidation of the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA).
