Political Opportunities, Challenges, and the Survival of OLF

The chapter identifies and explains some opportunities and dangers for the survival of the OLF, and why Baro joined the Oromo Liberation Army (OLF), the military wing of the OLF, in November 1977 by stopping urban political activities, his assassination in 1978, the consequences of his death, and the current development in the Oromo national movement.
