Prevalence of Cerebrovascular Disease in Central Africa

This chapter covers the epidemiological data available for cerebrovascular diseases in central Africa in comparison to the prevalence of aneurysms in the western world. The current literature from central Africa has been studied, and it can easily be realized that the prevalence of aneurysms in central Africa is underreported. This conclusion is mirrored in the extremely low number of papers concerning cerebrovascular diseases from this region.
