Introduction
摘要
Vascular neurosurgery undeniably stands as one of the most demanding disciplines within the field of medicine. Its focus lies in addressing disorders of the central nervous system stemming from vascular causes. Often, these conditions manifest as life-threatening states, demanding an intricate comprehension of neuroanatomical structures, alongside an exceptional level of precision and technique in executing procedures. However, the challenges of vascular neurosurgery extend beyond medical expertise. It necessitates sophisticated diagnostic equipment, a well-coordinated neurosurgical team and top-tier medical infrastructure. These are factors that are predominantly accessible in the Western world. In contrast, limited resources in developing countries result in significant impediments to medical access, diagnostics, and economic aspects.
