Data Management Model for Software Implementation Applied to Innovation and Learning of Construction Management

摘要

The chapter employs an experimental methodology, drawing insights from the experiential domain of construction management integrated with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Within this context, machinery is identified as a factor contributing to income generation. The narrative unfolds as an exploration of the complexities and challenges inherent in the cost management paradigm, seeking innovative solutions through the lens of knowledge management. The core of the study involves the creation and implementation of a software application model, CharLow MACHINERY, which addresses the identified problems in cost control. Unlike existing software programs, such as the COMPANY-A program, the CharLow MACHINERY model is distinguished by its real-time reporting capabilities, providing a dynamic and responsive tool for companies. To validate the efficacy of the proposed model, a comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis is conducted. This analysis extends to companies already utilizing similar software solutions, offering a comparative evaluation. The research identifies the limitations of the COMPANY-A program, notably its lack of real-time reporting functionality, in contrast to the innovative features embedded in the CharLow MACHINERY proposal. Ultimately, the results affirm the viability and effectiveness of the developed software model. It emerges as a practical solution that directly addresses the administrative and control challenges faced by companies, gleaned from insights derived not only from theoretical knowledge but also from experiential learning within the classroom setting. This chapter thus contributes a valuable synthesis of theoretical concepts, practical applications, and innovative solutions in the realms of knowledge management, innovation, and construction management for SMEs.
