Dialogue and Social Learning: Analyzing the Challenges of Integrating Different Knowledges in an Interdisciplinary Research
摘要
In the present study, we seek to highlight and discuss the challenges of doing research in the light of an important concept for social learning: dialogue. For this, we selected as a case study the Thematic Project Environmental Governance of the São Paulo Macrometropolis in the face of Climate Variability and analyzed the processes and results of two participatory workshops and the answers to a questionnaire. For the data analysis, we considered two categories of dialogue analysis: structural and comprehensive-collaborative. As a result, we identified a number of challenges that contribute to a scenario of dialogic incipiency. Identifying and seeking ways to overcome these challenges is consistent with the obstacles of an innovation process, as intended by the Thematic Project.
