Digital Learning for the ECEC Practitioner

This chapter is about developing your competencies as a practitioner in key areas of your ECEC practice. It encourages you to first reflect on your own attitudes and notions on the use of digital technology in ECEC practice. Later we describe  with some illustrations on how digital technology has already entered the ECEC space, offering some practical ideas on how to integrate digital technology in your everyday practice of communication with parents and families, administration and networking, assessment and documentation of children's learning as well as in the pedagogy of education and care of young children, ensuring provisions for wellbeing.
