A Space for Learning

In this chapter, we will look at ways to create a space for your study. This is physical space which means a desk, a room or a place in a library where you can work quietly and with focus on a regular basis. It also means the space that you need to create for learning in your life. One of the biggest adjustments to college is that you need to create opportunities for the learning to happen. This is not about the timetabled classes or lectures that you attend. This is about the learning that happens outside the scheduled classes—time for reading, writing, revising your work, doing group activities etc. In this part of the book, we will examine strategies for creating room in your life for your learning.
