Working and Writing Reflectively

Having looked at different definitions and models of reflection, it is now useful to look at different ways you can apply it to your learning as student, practitioner or both together. In this chapter, we will look at reflective writing and how you can develop better skills and habits in your reflective writing. We will also look at how you can bring reflection into your practice as an educator. We finish the chapter by returning to reflective writing to explore a few tips on how to write reflectively in practice and we recommend using a reflective journal as a way to explore and document your experiences as part of your learning in practice.
