The Interrelationship Between Grammar and Lexis from a Methodological Perspective

Despite the clear distinction between grammar and lexis, the two domains are entangled to such an extent that the terms ‘grammatical’ and ‘lexical’ can appear similar in certain contexts. It is essential to remain aware of the differences between them, however, and to draw the appropriate methodological conclusions from this distinction in order to develop an effective methodology for teaching languages.
