Scanning Systems for Environment Perception in Autonomous Navigation
摘要
The development of autonomous navigation systems has been an active area of research in recent years. Scanning technologies have been widely used in these systems due to their ability to provide accurate and high-resolution data for 3D mapping and localization. The integration of scanning systems into autonomous navigation enables these systems to perceive their environment and make informed decisions on how to move through it. Scanning technologies have also been used in conjunction with other technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance autonomous navigation performance. Indoor and outdoor scanning technologies have different applications in autonomous navigation. Indoor scanning technologies are used in environments such as warehouses and factories to map out the space and navigate around obstacles. Outdoor scanning technologies, such as lidar systems, are used in autonomous vehicles to map out the surrounding environment and detect obstacles. In summary, this chapter provides a comprehensive overview of scanning systems for autonomous navigation. It covers the use of different scanning technologies, their applications in indoor and outdoor environments and their role in autonomous navigation. This chapter will be a valuable resource for researchers and engineers interested in autonomous navigation and scanning technologies.
