Reconstruction and Postoperative Care After Transorbital Skull Base and Brain Surgery
摘要
Effective reconstruction of the surgical pathway and target is critical to the safety and success of skull base and brain surgery. This chapter will describe techniques for the reconstruction of the unique defects that arise during transorbital skull base and brain surgery, including reconstructive materials and aids such as mirror-image overlay and surgical navigation. Insights into the recovery and postoperative care of these patients will also be provided to guide them through the most comfortable and rapid return to their preoperative lifestyle and function.
