Intraconal Tumors
摘要
Although orbital tumors present a surgical challenge, the goal of treatment is complete surgical resection. Recently, minimally invasive endoscopic transorbital technique has been proposed as a viable alternative to transcranial approaches in the treatment of orbital tumors. Multidisciplinary teamwork is of utmost importance in selecting the best surgical route and trajectory, with the cooperation of neurosurgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, and otolaryngologists. Herein, we describe the endoscopic transorbital surgery for resection of intraconal tumors with respect to their locations relative to the optic nerve.
