摘要

The Mindoro rivers’ water levels have fluctuated and are solely dependent on tropical downpours, which can result in flash floods in downstream cities. The locals will have a head start on reacting to what will happen if the water level of the water sources can be predicted using various parameters. The province of Mindoro is primarily affected by the effect once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) due to the Philippines having a relative average of 20 tropical cycles (TC), concentrating on the island facing the Pacific. Three main rivers will each have the device installed, and each river will send information to the web server once each minute. A gradient-boosted tree model was used to improve the system’s characteristics, which revealed 0.482% of relative error and 23.8% of relative error.
