摘要
TheCosts* correspondence concerning the German translation of Tarski’s monograph contains information about the cost of various things, such as the cost of paying for a professional translation of the truth monograph (500–600 złotys) and the cost of mailing a postcard (15 groszy, i.e. 0.15 zł). It also indicates that Tarski at the time was in difficult financial circumstances, unable at a certain point to afford to buy off-prints of his paper.
