How the Nigerian Macro Environment Influences Partner Fit Between Social Enterprises and Impact Investors

Having explored the micro-organisational level factors that influence the trust level between SEs and IIs in establishing partner fit to achieve collective social and economic interests, this chapter now examines how the Nigeria macro environment influences collaboration in the six dyadic cases in the study to ascertain factors that enable or constrain the establishment of partner fit between them. Examining the macro-level factors influencing collaboration between these dyad partners was paramount because, as Coleman (1990) posited, macro-level factors often drive micro-level outcomes.
