摘要

The final chapter concludes that there is currently insufficient systematic attention to distributive justice in Dutch climate policy. Various distributive principles are often overlooked in policymaking. The key message therefore is that all climate policy should take the fair distribution of climate costs into account. In addition to effectiveness and legality, climate measures should also be assessed from the perspective of justice. Failure to do so could erode public support for climate policy, and so delay or even prevent the implementation of the policy measures.
