Demonstration of the EV Charger Application

This chapter demonstrates the design and control of EV DC charger to achieve bidirectional charging/discharging functions and grid services with high efficiency. The DC/DC battery side and DC/AC grid side circuit topologies and control strategies are illustrated in detail. The high level commands, grid services configurations, and active/reactive power control have also been demonstrated in this chapter.
