My position in this chapter is a comfortable one for an academicacademic: it is not my expertiseexpertise, but my ignoranceignorance that is requested. I have been asked, as a “third partythird party”, that is, as a non-native speakernative speaker of either language, to consider translations from Arabic into EnglishArabic into English.
