Supported by technologies, remote communication has entered the various aspects of everyday life, from remote working and studying, to tourism. The aim of the paper is to explore young people’s readiness to travel while studying remotely, as well as to define them as a specific sub segment of tourist demand which affects the formation of specific accommodation offers. Methodology includes quantitative and qualitative analysis of the affirmation potentials in international context, differing international from Croatian students. The research design included original structured questionnaire that explored general attitudes and the perception through statements related to the possibility of development of the concept and facilities for student nomadism. The research results contribute to the formation of scientific knowledge in the field of organization of accommodation offer, as well as in the identification of its key elements, all in accordance with the specific demand requirements. The results point to how ensuring possibilities and offers of remote study using tourism accommodation facilities and use of the facility and destination leisure services represents a competitive factor of the development of off season tourism which, consequently, contributes to the sustainability of tourism destinations, encourages the local community life dynamics through the valorization of specific tourism segments and impact the valorization of cultural heritage. It is concluded that student nomadism and educational tourism would contribute to knowledge development and exchange, as well as to cultural understanding at global level.

Student Nomadism in Tourism Context—Attitudes of the International Student Segment
