Pink Pineapple Mealybug, Dysmicoccus Brevipes (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae): An Overview

Small yet disastrous is the best word to describe Dysmicoccus brevipes (Cockerell). Known as pink pineapple mealybug (PPM), this polyphagous pest has infested more than 159 plant genera and spread across the globe. This chapter reviews the life cycle and infestation of D. brevipes and its management.
