Developing Idealist-Socialism
摘要
Chapter 7 builds upon Idealist ethics to formulate an approach to alleviate working-class alienation, incorporating insights from Guild Socialist G.D.H. Cole and Harold Laski. While embracing Idealist principles, the chapter explores the nuances and critiques embedded in Socialist Pluralism. It scrutinises their perspectives on the society of societies, the state, and the capitalist system, ultimately proposing an amalgamation labelled Idealist-Socialism, which is characterised by a commitment to moral character, flourishing, social justice, and economic democracy.
