Tumors interfere with Cardiac functioning in several ways depending upon their type and region affected. After reading this chapter, the reader will become familiar with the different tumors, their age at occurrence, their frequency, their malignant potential, their metastatic capabilities to and from the Heart, their predilection to which layer and chamber of the heart, the different symptoms and signs the patients present with, the role of Echocardiogram (2D, M Mode and Doppler-Spectral/color), the role of other modalities in the diagnostic process, the treatment options available and the prognosis.
