Evaluation of a Social Robot System for Performance-Oriented Stroke Therapy
摘要
Over the past few years, social robots have found utility in rehabilitative therapies across various fields. However, most of these studies did not incorporate extended clinical trials or focus on enhancing the health status of the patients with a medical stroke therapy. In this study, we present a research project in which a social robot serves as an instructor for stroke patients during their rehabilitation sessions. In this paper we briefly present our social robot application and focus on its evaluation. We provide an overview of relevant previous work and outline the system setup and experimental study. Lastly, we discuss our evaluation and conclude our findings.
